More models by Ken Ensign This is an International Payster 5000. The cab is a 4200 IH white metal piece from On-Trak I believe. The front fenders, hood and grill as well as the bumper are entirely scratchbuilt. The cab guard and winch assembly mounted behind the cab are also scratch built. Signs and flags were made on my printer. Mirrors are photo etched from A-Line and the muffler guard is from Masterbuilt Models. The jeep dolley and trailer are completely scratchbuilt. Herpa wheels were used all the way around. The spare tires on the dolly are simply tires with the inside area painted to simulate rims. This model started as a Roco Magirus-Deutz but with some slight modifications and a cab swap it has now become an MR model Mack. The cab is a resin casting, the scrap container has been aged and weathered and loaded with scrap styrene and parts.
Norscot 627G scraper re-do, the auger was removed and the sides of the bowl area lowered, details and weathering added. |
