The 'Koffer-Trucker', a radio-controlled curiousity...

In 1982, Robbe released what was probably the worlds first 1/87 RC-truck. The model, which was based on a Herpa model, was available in several liveries and came packed in a case together with it's 27 MHz RC equipment. Because it was quite expensive the model can't have been a big success, a theory supported by the fact that these models rarely turn up at auction nowadays.
