Another fine diorama by Chester Fesmire, here's what Chester has to say about the diorama and the models:
'Here's a little truck repair and sales shop I put together and made abandoned. The vehicles seen are a weathered Busch stake bed Chevy, a Tyco trailer with A-line wheels and new landing gear and there's a Sylvan Scale White 4000 highway tractor back in the corner of the yard. All of the signs are decals on brass foil. The used parts laying around and in the back of the stake bed are foil I burnished over other models. Most of the weathering on the vehicles and structure are a combination of dry pastel chalks and chalk mixed with alcohol to make a wash. The one "nighttime" scene was done with a small pencil beam flashlight.'
