This well-known toy manufacturer has also released models that were close to 1/87. In the early 1980s they released a series of models that was somewhat bigger then 1/87. The models have tinted, dark or even chromed windows and because of the 'pull-back action' the models do not have an interior. Identical models have also been released under the Zima brandname, but the original Tonka models are the ones with the ones with the gold-coloured wheels.
